Well this version of "World in Union" brought tears to my eyes when watching the RWC opening ceremony... and I'm not even a huge rugby fan! BUT did you know that this wasn't composed for the RWC 1991? English Composer Gustav Holst (1874 - 1934) wrote this piece as part of his "Planets" suite. "World in Union" is actually "Jupiter"!

A compellingly creepy cool read that keeps you
guessing and makes you think twice about
making new friends!
A psychological thriller that you won't want to put down.

Gotta love this Flash Mob thing... and OMG look at the size of the Seattle Public Library! Complete with garden! Wonder if the kids at school would notice/care if I tried doing this in our library at lunchtime??
This I want to try. Has anyone used this app? Let us know how you found it.
Well done all those students and teachers who donated their cash, cans and brain power to make today's quiz a huge success. The library was buzzing and there was not an inch of room to spare.
Congratulations to winners Room 13, runners-up Room 12 and third placed Room 1, not to mention a very credible result from your teachers' team. Rooms 15, 4A and 18A were very close too - in fact you all impressed with your rugby and book knowhow.
We raised $132.70 and over 70 cans of food for The City Mission and Mackenzie, Ella and Sophie from Room 6 kindly added the money they made from selling cupcakes today as well. Thanks everybody. A great way to start off the Rugby World Cup!
An annoyingly catchy rap video.
If he can figure out where to find things in the library - so can you!
I've just spent a gloriously sunny weekend glued to this book - barely noticing that Wellington can have fantastic weather!
Check out this book review ("Heaven, Hell and Purgatory" - they gave it a "Heaven" rating, and so do I):
