Kobe's helping Room 2 with their inquiry in the library. He was working on The Springbok Tour - watching the golden labs chasing bunnies but as he's a black lab he wasn't allowed to play. This made him a bit emotional. You can tell.

To help celebrate NZ Post Children's Book Awards week we had a visit form author Leon Davidson and editor Alex Collins who talked about writing and getting published. They answered a million questions very thoughtfully and passed on a lot of information to our budding writers. Thanks for coming guys.
If you want to read Leon's books you'll need to reserve them as they are being read at the moment.
