Designer Jared Fanning created a simple infographic comparing the Top 10 Most Read Books in the World
The list was compiled by freelance writer James Chapman, based on the number of copies each book sold over the last 50 years.
“I have compiled this list of the 10 Most Read Books In The World after completing a long project of research to establish exactly which are the  most read books in the world … You will find in this list a varied array of subject matter, covering a  considerable number of years of some truly talented author’s work. Some of the authors are no longer with us, but the majority are still producing their masterpieces for our ongoing delight.”
What do you think?

A good days work done by Raroa's Kids' Lit Quiz teams on the last day of Term 1. After 100 questions about books and reading they both finished 17th (=) out of 50 teams competing. Well done guys - you really know your literature.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in Friday's Lunchtime Lit Quiz - you were amazing! 27 teams (that's a record) fought it out to find the most avid readers. You were all experts on The Hunger Games and knew your cartoon characters but it came down to a tie-breaker between Room 3 and the Kids' Lit Quiz school team 2, won by KLQ team 2. All results are up in the library, check out how your class went.
Thank you Mr Tilley for being our quizmaster and thanks to all the student leaders and other students who helped to make sure everything ran smoothly. We raised $144.50 and 5 boxes of cans for the local Food Bank. Well done!
